Meet Mara- She's jewel of a dog in her golden years (10 years old) and a healthy 62 lbs. The last few years have been rough after her former owners divorced and she was bounced around. Now she's looking for a laid-back "retirement" home.

Mara is house-broken, crate-trained and very mellow. She has lived with children, cats, and is currently getting along great with 2 dogs in her foster home. She loves napping, snuggling and her daily walk. Mara is hard of hearing, but responds to hand-clapping, whistling and using hand signs and facial gestures. Check her out - she just may be the companion you are looking for!
