Hi my shelter name is Teddy, I bet you can guess why. You are right I look like a cuddly Teddy Bear! While that is very true I do need to get to know you and feel safe before I really loosen up & cuddle. The shelter is asking that only families with children 10 years and older ask about me. Not a bad idea considering the youngsters don’t always listen to us dogs when we say NO!

I am a sturdy Chihuahua around 4 years old and weighing in at 9 lbs, not one of those delicate types. I like a nice paced walk and some play romping in the back yard just like any big dog does.

Also I do think a regular brushing is in order for me with my long locks.
