Hello! My name is Emerson. Is there such thing as the perfect dog? I'm not sure if there is, but I am pretty darn close! I am a very friendly, handsome middle-aged man who loves to hang out with all kinds of people, and even enjoys the company of other dogs! I can be very mellow when the time calls for it, or up and ready for an adventure in a flash. My hips can be a bit stiff when I first get up, but once I get moving, I tend to be ok for a good, long walk. I am the kind of dog that's his happiest being right by your side. If you would like to meet me, come down to the shelter and say hello. You'll be happy you did! I am 7 years old and weigh 62 pounds
