Please note - "Non-shedder" breeds like  Poodles, Lhasas, Shih Tzus, Bichons and Schnauzers, NEED regular grooming - otherwise their hair becomes painfully matted.

The animal shelters see a large number of these breeds come in poor condition due to neglect.

Other breeds like Cockers Spaniels and Aussies, Malamutes also can becomes very matted if not regularly brushed/groomed.

Available for adoption at Multnomah County Animal Services!
