Meet Arthur!

Arthur is a sweet and adorable American Shelter Mutt - which is another way of saying we don't know exactly what breed mix he is! We think he is about five years old. He has a soft coat, something like an Australian Shepherd and he's a great smallish medium size, weighing about 35lbs. Arthur loves adults, and kids over 12 years old. He does not like small children at all! He gets along fine with small dogs and he can get along with bigger dogs once he knows them, but when he meets them on leash he is very defensive. He does really well at the dog park, as long as dogs don't jump on him. Arthur is a great walking/hiking companion and as you can see by his airborne pic, quite an athlete! Arthur does have some separation anxiety so would do best in a home where the people aren't gone all day to work. He really would do best with another, smaller dog in the home as company. He doesn't currently live with a cat but we think he might be fine with cats who don't run.
