Update June 2017 "Maple Syrup is settling in very nicely to our family. She and Pasco get along really well, playing fetch, racing around the yard, and even snuggling. She loves to go for long runs and hikes, and is getting better with her leash training. She is so sweet that even our cats don't mind her. Kristoffer and I are completely smitten, and can't imagine why someone wouldn't have searched for her to the ends of the earth. Maybe destiny, so she could be with us!"

Do you like sweet things? My name is Maple Syrup and you might want to look at me. I'm a 4 year old chocolate merle Aussie. I love to play fetch and will readily bring back a tennis ball and even know the command drop it. I also know sit and shake. Because I can be talkative, apartment life is not for me. I'm a bit of a nervous nellie here at the shelter which can be common for my breed, so the shelter is recommending kids be at least 10 & up in my new home. I will need some time to settle before I pour my heart and soul out for you. Breed experience is a plus but not required.
