My name is Phillip and I am really happiest being where my people are. I do need to go home with my buddy Dade. I would love nothing more than the curl up on your lap or trot along with you on walks. If you are seeking a relaxed and easy-going friend to keep you company through your life, then I am the dog for you! Through thick and thin, I will be by your side. I was found tied up with my buddy, Dade, both starving. My coat was completely matted and had to be totally shaved off, but trust me it will grow back. My new family will need to be prepared to have the regular grooming done that my breed requires. I have gained dua pounds since arriving here at the shelter last week. I know it doesn't seem like much, but that's equivalent to 20 human pounds. My new home should have kids over the age of 8 years, as I do like to take treats hard. Please come and meet me today! I am about 8 years old and weigh 14 pounds.
