"BUNNIES for adoption"

Bunnies can be fun and easy maintenance pets!

Bunnies should NOT be "Easter Bunnies" to be given as holiday gifts and then discarded when no longer wanted.  They are domesticated animals who rely on loving, responsible and committed people to care for them. A well cared for house rabbit who has been spayed/neutered early has a life expectancy of 8 -12 years.  They need daily time out of their kennels for socializing and exercise. The more time you spend with a bunny, the more they show you their unique personalities.

Available for adoption at Multnomah County Animal Services!

Betty is a social rabbit who has probably not been handled much in their past and is still learning that good things can happen when people pick them up. Like many animals, they are happiest with all four feet firmly on the ground! She enjoys pets and permits handling but is currently anxious when being held. Betty is just learning to use a litterbox and will need continued training in her new home. Betty's finder was able to pick her up easily so the more you practice picking up gently, the easier it will be for both of you.
